I ordered this, only to find that it is a non-standard size -- 3/4" not the common 5/8" quick connect size that is widely available.Otherwise, the product looked great, though I was never able to use it find out for sure.

Reelcraft L-4545-123-7 Spring Driven Cord Reel with 45-Feet of 12/3 Cord and GFCI Dual Outlet Review

Its made by Reelcraft so you know its good. I mean, its like saying "are Snap-On tools any good?"
Unfortunately the latch mechanism it uses to keep the reel from winding back in is a pain to use. I prefer the ratchet 'click click click' style, but this uses a stupid lever with a wheel that drops into a half round detent on the hub. Its kind of hard to explain, but take my word for it, its annoying to use.

So when you pull the cord and want it to stay out you need to s l o w l y.... let it reel back in about a half a rotation before the latch catches and the cord dosent wind up. There is no audible noise to the mechanism and it is easy to bump the wheel past the detent so sometimes you need to try it three or four times. And if you have the cord really extended it becomes even more annoying.

Overall the mechanism is really annoying, but i still like the reel and use it every day. But if i were to order again, id try to get a different model number with a standard reel catch.

The Rumford Gardener GA7500 50-Foot Flat Garden Hose with Reel Review

I purchased this because I had one a long while ago, and it was great. This one however is not all fabric like my previous one, but has a vinyl liner. I used it and it rolled up fine. Just hope it will hold up since I do not have faith in the vinyl.IT DIDN'T HOLD UP, LEAKING ALREADY

Dont buy this hose if you plan to use it for your garden, kiddie pool, dog/cat water bowl, playing in the sprinkler, or pretty much anything fun to do with a hose in the summer... According to the label, it's full of lead and other toxins that cause cancer and birth defects... the marine and boat hoses are your best bet here on amazon. Look for "drinking water safe" or "non toxic" on the description.

There isn't a lot to say. This is a no nonsense commercial grade hose. It's thick but flexible. It's "eeeww" safety yellow so you'll see it and it lies flat on the floor so it won't likely trip you. I expect it to last essentially forever unless it gets cut or punctured.

Liberty Garden Products 4-in-1 Multi-Purpose Two Wheel Garden Hose Reel Cart With 100-Foot Hose Capacity #706-1-Bronze Review

The reel is too low to the ground with too little clearance from the base of the cart. Because of the clearance, I have to carefully make sure that the hose winds neatly on the reel. Further, the wheels do not stay firmly connected to the axle. I need to continually give them a kick to make them click on. I will likely sell this model and get a better one with a larger reel with more clearance.

In warm weather this "commercial duty ??" hose becomes very soft and kinks badly.It has NO flexural rigidity in bending or squeezing.It is tangles easily when being dragged in sections across the yard.Product is NOT Recommended.Product returned to Amazon.

Northern Industrial Air Hose - 1/4in. x 65ft., Clear, Urethane Review

I'd thought I'd try these(the 65' and 35') because at their price, if they're any good at all, they represent a good alternative to the pricier Coilhose and PUR-Hose models. That, plus I liked the included swivel fittings. After two weeks of heavy use, I'm very pleased. No problems of any type. Since they're available locally through Northern Tool, I'll be buying more. Do note however that fittings differ from norm so you might have to buy additional connectors.

Northern Industrial Air Hose - 3/8in. x 100ft., Green, Urethane Review

This hose is great. I specifically bought it because of its length and have been very happy with its performance all round. My compressor lives down in the basement and the hose is plenty long enough to go up the stairs and out the front of the house where my vehicle is parked, so I can put air in the tires. Its fairly easy to handle too and I haven't really had a problem with it becoming tangled.
